Brooklyn Botanic Garden Block Party 2026 Is Coming

One garden, one afternoon, and every corner of the DTE community in the same place at the same time.

On Tuesday, July 14, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden becomes the backdrop for our biggest community gathering of the year. Students, alumni, families, mentors, teachers, partners, and neighbors — the Block Party is the one event where the whole DTE story stands together in one place.

Expect live music from student and local performers, food from Brooklyn vendors, garden tours led by BBG staff, and a program corner where you can meet mentors and hear alumni talk about where their first exposure trip took them. New this year: a family photo station and an open-mic hour for students.
